When she joined forces with her mom, Eileen Francabandera, a successful businesswoman, Sweet and Saucy Shop was launched. Their dedication to producing one-of-a-kind cakes and desserts using only the finest ingredients has resulted in a thriving business, and has established Sweet and Saucy Shop as one of the most popular dessert shops on the West Coast. Sweet and Saucy Shop has been featured in leading wedding & entertainment magazines such as The Knot Magazine, Martha Stewart Wedding Magazine, US Magazine, and People Magazine and has appeared on TLC and Storibook Weddings, and worked with celebrities such as Miley Cyrus, Oprah Winfrey, John Stamos, Tori Spelling, and LeeAnn Rimes.

One of the desserts that began to emerge as a customer favorite was the cake lollipop. The combination of the delicious cake made even more moist by mixing with frosting and the added flavor of the chocolate covering was an immediate success. Different flavors were added to vanilla, red velvet, and chocolate to entice each individual including carrot cake, banana peanut butter, lemon, brownie, strawberry, pumpkin, and coconut. As the popularity grew and customers began requesting the unique dessert for weddings, birthdays, gifts and all-occasion celebrations, staff was added to accommodate the huge demand. As people from all over the United States began requesting the stylish treat, Sweet and Saucy Shop developed custom packaging to enable them to fulfill their requests.
